You could make the argument that no Southeastern Conference team had a better National Signing Day effort than the Ole Miss Rebels — and that was before Lakia Henry announced his final decision.

Henry, the nation’s No. 1 junior college linebacker and No. 3 overall junior college prospect, announced he would sign with Ole Miss over longtime suitor Arkansas during a ceremony at his Dodge City Community College. The news is equally as big for the Rebels as it is devastating to the Razorbacks as Arkansas is expected to miss out on Tennessee linebacker Chris Russell later this evening.

The Rebels have now closed with two former Tennessee commits, as Henry was previously committed to the Volunteers, as was defensive lineman LeDarrius Cox, who also announced his decision to sign with the Rebels Wednesday. Those two join four-star receiver Jonathan Mingo and five-star running back Jerrion Ealy as Ole Miss National Signing Day signees.
