Ole Miss AD Ross Bjork gives timeline for NCAA punishment decision
Ole Miss could find out what its punishment — or non-punishment — is from the NCAA’s Committee on Infractions “as early as next week,” according to a Twitter report on Thursday evening.
Athletic director Ross Bjork reportedly told SEC Network host Laura Rutledge that the Committee on Infractions was close to a decision.
Ole Miss has been investigated by the NCAA for potential serious recruiting violations stemming from the regime of former head coach Hugh Freeze.
The Rebels were playing in the annual Egg Bowl against Mississippi State on Thursday night in Starkville. Ole Miss had a 7-0 lead midway through the first quarter.
Here’s a tweet from Gridiron Now reporter Brad Logan detailing what Bjork said:

Ole Miss fans will surely be happy when all of this comes to an end one way or another.
