Gadsden, Alabama ATH De’Rickey Wright will play college football in Bryant-Denny Stadium after all – just not quite as often as once planned.

Wright, who backed off his pledge to Alabama earlier this week, announced on Saturday (via Twitter) that he is now committed to Ole Miss. Listed at 6-4, 220 pounds, Wright is rated 3-stars, the No. 21 Alabama product, No. 26 ATH and No. 388 recruit overall nationally for the 2020 class on the 247Sports Composite. After decommitting from the Crimson Tide, he picked up scholarship offers from Miami and Georgia Tech.

At Nike’s “The Opening” regional competition camp, Wright clocked a 4.69-second 40-yard dash and 4.32-second shuttle and logged a 35.30-inch vertical. Check out his highlight tape and announcement below:
