Quinshon Judkins has led the SEC in rushing touchdowns in each of his first two seasons at Ole Miss. Judkins will reportedly look to continue his college football career elsewhere in 2024.

Matt Zenitz of 247Sports broke the news Thursday that Judkins told Ole Miss staffers that he intends to enter the NCAA transfer portal. The stunning news comes after Lane Kiffin’s staff has made numerous splash additions in the portal, generating early hype for the Rebels in 2024 coming off the first 11-win season in program history.

Judkins was an instant-impact freshman for Ole Miss in 2022. He rushed 274 times for 1,567 yards and 16 touchdowns, adding 15 catches for 132 yards and a score. He was named the SEC’s Freshman of the Year and made first-team All-SEC. On top of that, Judkins was recognized as the National Freshman of the Year by CBS.

As a sophomore, Judkins again posted 17 touchdowns (15 rushing, 2 receiving). He carried the ball 271 times for 1,158 yards as the Rebels went 11-2, capped by a Peach Bowl win. Judkins was again named first-team All-SEC by the conference coaches for 2023.

Judkins figures to command lots of interest in the transfer portal.
