Quinshon Judkins could be looking at a move to the Big Ten after hitting the transfer portal.

Judkins announced a major blow for Ole Miss last week when the star running back entered the transfer portal. A 3-star running back in the 2022 recruiting class, Judkins has been the starter for the Rebels for the past two seasons.

Sunday evening, Judkins confirmed he was in Columbus, presumably for a visit to Ohio State. He sent out a simple photo on his Instagram stories with Columbus, Ohio tagged, and Judkins also posted the eyeball emoji on X (formerly Twitter) with location services putting Judkins in Columbus.

A transfer to the Buckeyes would be a major move for Judkins and a major boost for Ryan Day’s program. Star RB TreVeyon Henderson has not confirmed his intentions for 2024, but Ohio State is losing Miyan Williams to the NFL Draft and Evan Pryor to the transfer portal.

With or without Henderson, Judkins is a major piece after rushing for over 2,700 yards and 31 touchdowns in his first two seasons at Ole Miss with 34 total touchdowns. 247 Sports rates Judkins as the top transfer RB available and the No. 4 overall player in the portal this cycle.

Ohio State is also making major changes to the offensive side of the ball with starting QB Kyle McCord transferring to Syracuse and the Buckeyes landing former Kansas State starter Will Howard. Day is also expected to hire a new offensive coordinator this offseason while retaining Brian Hartline in his role as wide receivers coach.
