Sam Carter, Arkansas CB coach, reportedly makes decision between Razorbacks and Ole Miss
Sam Carter came to Arkansas to work as the Razorbacks’ CB coach ahead of the 2020 season.
Now, after only 2 years under Sam Pittman in Fayetteville, he’s reportedly on the move to a new SEC West program.
Per Matt Zenitz of On3 Sports, Carter has decided to accept the same position on Lane Kiffin’s staff at Ole Miss for the 2022 season:
Arkansas’ Sam Carter has accepted the Ole Miss cornerbacks coach job, a source tells @on3sports.
Carter, who @zach_barnett previously reported was being pursued for the job, is an ex-TCU All-Big 12 DB who has been on Arkansas’ staff the last two years.https://t.co/k5bN5NhJoE

Ole Miss recently parted ways with CB coach Terrell Buckley, meaning the position was open on Kiffin’s staff.
Prior to his time at Arkansas, Carter worked under Barry Odom as a member of his support staff while Odom was the head coach at Mizzou.
