We’re more than halfway through the 2021 college football season, and at this point, players are running out of time to boost their stock ahead of the 2022 NFL Draft. If they still have plenty to prove, they’ll need to do so over the next month.

However, many SEC players who are eligible to be drafted in April have already proven themselves. That’s why many mock drafts are projecting a bunch of players from the conference to get selected in the first round.

Ryan Wilson of CBS Sports recently released his updated mock, and he has 15 SEC players going in the first round. It starts with Alabama offensive lineman Evan Neal, who is projected to go No. 2 overall to the Jacksonville Jaguars. The only player projected to get drafted higher is Oregon defensive end Kayvon Thibodeaux, who Wilson has going No. 1 to the New York Jets.

Wilson also has an SEC player going No. 3, as he’s projecting LSU cornerback Derek Stingley Jr. to get drafted by the Houston Texans at that spot.

Here are the SEC players who Wilson is projecting to go in the first round:

2. Jacksonville Jaguars: Evan Neal, OL, Alabama
