The 2021 NFL Draft is still a long way away, but as it looks like the 2020 season will start as scheduled, analysts are putting together their early mock drafts.

This week, Walter Football put together its Round 1 mock, and it was loaded with SEC talent.

As you can see below, 8 Alabama players are among the 15 SEC stars projected to go in the first 32 picks:

  • No. 5 — Ja’Marr Chase, WR, LSU — Chicago Bears
  • No. 8 — Patrick Surtain II, CB, Alabama — New York Jets
  • No. 10 — Alex Leatherwood, OL, Alabama — Miami Dolphins
  • No. 11 — Jaylen Waddle, WR, Alabama — Tennessee Titans
  • No. 14 — Dylan Moses, LB, Alabama — Las Vegas Raiders
  • No. 15 — Seth Williams, WR, Auburn — Green Bay Packers
  • No. 17 — Israel Mukuamu, CB, South Carolina — Arizona Cardinals
  • No. 22 — Cade Mays, OL, Tennessee — Denver Broncos
  • No. 23 — Trey Hill, OL, Georgia — Philadelphia Eagles
  • No. 24 — Jamie Newman, QB, Georgia — Pittsburgh Steelers
  • No. 25 — Trey Smith, OL, Tennessee — Seattle Seahawks
  • No. 26 — Deonte Brown, OL, Alabama — Buffalo Bills
  • No. 27 — Josh Jobe, CB, Alabama — Indianapolis Colts
  • No. 29 — DeVonta Smith, WR, Alabama — Baltimore Ravens
  • No. 32 — LaBryan Ray, DL, Alabama — Kansas City Chiefs

Obviously, there’s still time for players not on this list to work their way up draft boards. We’ll see what happens in the coming months as the season gets started.
