Buford (Georgia) standout Jake Pope has collected 32 scholarship offers so far in his recruitment. He recently revealed a top group of eight teams, including three from the SEC.
Alabama, Auburn and Georgia are in Pope’s top eight along with Michigan, North Carolina, Notre Dame, Ohio State and Oklahoma. Pope also has scholarship offers from Arkansas, Ole Miss, Tennessee and Vanderbilt. The Will Muschamp staff at South Carolina offered Pope in June of 2020.
Listed at 6-1, 190 pounds, Pope is rated 3-stars, the No. 26 safety, No. 37 recruit in Georgia and No. 392 prospect overall in 2022 on the 247Sports Composite.
He played wide receiver, safety and kick returner on a 13-1 Buford in 2020, his junior season. Highlights from that season can be viewed in the Hudl video below:
