4-star LB, former LSU commit Raesjon Davis includes Tigers, other SEC program in top 5
For all but a few days of 2020, Raesjon Davis was committed to LSU. After committing to the Tigers on Jan. 1, 2020, he backed off his pledge to Ed Orgeron’s program on Dec. 21, but he hasn’t closed the door on playing in Baton Rouge just yet.
On Sunday, Davis shared a top five of LSU, Ohio State, Oregon, USC and Vanderbilt via his Twitter account.
A Santa Ana, California native, Davis is listed at 6-1, 215 pounds. The Mater Dei standout is rated 4-stars, the No. 3 recruit in California, No. 4 outside linebacker and No. 45 prospect overall nationally in the class of 2021 on the 247Sports Composite.
It’s not too often we see the Commodores in the mix for top-50 prospects, but it would be a huge get for new VU head coach Clark Lea and his staff.
Davis has 22 scholarship offers showing on 247Sports. His high school highlights can be viewed below, via Hudl:
