Two days ahead of his commitment announcement, Texas wide receiver Phaizon Wilson has narrowed his recruitment down to a pair of SEC West schools.

Wilson tweeted Wednesday night that he’s down to Alabama and Arkansas after previously including Ole Miss in his top group.

On the 247Sports Composite, Wilson is listed at 6-4, 210 pounds and rated 4-stars, the No. 42 Texas recruit, No. 45 wide receiver and No. 311 prospect overall in the class of 2022. HawgBeat’s Nikki Chavanelle notes that Wilson transferred from Lancaster to Duncanville after the fall semester.

Wilson has picked up 16 offers during his recruitment, including Auburn, Florida, Mizzou, Ole Miss and Texas A&M. Wilson was committed to the Tom Herman staff at Texas last year from July 31 to Oct. 29.
