5-star 2023 CB Tony Mitchell includes 5 SEC schools among top 7 college choices

Tony Mitchell is still deciding where he’ll attend college, but there’s a strong chance it could at an SEC school. The 5-star cornerback out of Thompson High School in Alabaster, Ala., announced his top 7 choices on Twitter on Monday, and the list is filled with mostly SEC programs.

Mitchell is still considering 5 SEC schools: Alabama, Florida, Georgia, LSU and Texas A&M. In addition to those programs, he also has Clemson and Oregon on his list.

Mitchell is the No. 11 overall recruit in the 2023 class and the No. 2 cornerback, per the 247Sports Composite rankings. Considering he’s still only a high school junior, there’s still plenty of time left for him to make his college decision.

But whenever Mitchell picks 1 of these 7 schools, that program is going to be getting a huge boost to its 2023 recruiting class.
