6 SEC players included on latest ranking of Top 25 Senior Bowl prospects
Bowl season is almost here. That means some college football players are nearing the final games of their careers — or they may have already played it, if they decide to opt out of their team’s bowl matchup.
Even though the 2021 season isn’t over yet, it’s not too early to start looking ahead. There’s a talented wave of players that will be entering the 2022 NFL Draft and preparing for the next chapter of their careers. And they’ll have plenty of opportunities to showcase their skills before that point.
One of those opportunities will be at the 2022 Reese’s Senior Bowl on Feb. 5 in Mobile, Ala. While it’s not yet clear who will play in that showcase game, NFL.com’s Chad Reuter has been updating his rankings of the top senior bowl prospects to watch throughout the season.
Here’s his latest list of the top 25 prospects for the game (with SEC players in bold):
