Running back coaches are certainly good on-field assistants at the position, but more times than not, they’re one of the better recruiters on the staff.

FootballScoop has been diving into assistant coaches salaries over the last week, and the latest installment of running backs coaches is very interesting.

Seven of the top 10 highest paid are from the SEC, with LSU’s Tommie Robinson leading the way making $600,000 annually. Georgia’s dynamic recruiter and assistant Dell McGee is second making $550,000.

Of the SEC assistants listed, Alabama’s Joe Pannunzio is the fourth highest-ranked recruiter in the nation for the 2019 cycle.
