9 SEC players named to Wuerffel Trophy watch list

As college football watch lists continue to be released this week, 9 players from the SEC were named to the Wuerffel Trohpy watch list.

The Wuerffel Trophy, known as “College Football’s Premier Award for Community Service,” is presented annually by the All Sports Association in Fort Walton Beach, Fla., to the FBS player that best combines exemplary community service with athletic and academic achievement.

The below SEC players have been named to the watch list:

Brooks Ellis, Arkansas, Junior, LB
Jonathan Wallace, Auburn, Senior, WR
Jordan Jenkins, Georgia, Senior, LB
Malcolm Mitchell, Georgia, Senior, WR
Landon Foster, Kentucky, Senior, P
Jamie Keehn, LSU, Senior, P
Dak Prescott, Mississippi State, Senior, QB
Joshua Dobbs, Tennessee, Junior, QB
Julien Obioha, Texas A&M, Senior, DE
