With Week 11 officially in the books, let’s take a look at the best performances of the weekend in this week’s All-SEC Team.

OFFENSE

QB Kyle Allen: Allen did not look impressive in his first career start two weeks ago against Louisiana-Monroe, but he more than made up for that performance with his stellar outing in Texas A&M’s upset of Auburn in Week 11. The freshman completed better than 65 percent of his passes for 277 yards and a whopping four touchdowns, leading the A&M offense to 41 points in a signature win on Saturday.

RB Cameron Artis-Payne: The SEC’s leading rusher had another huge day in Week 11, rushing for 221 yards at better than seven yards per carry along with a pair of touchdowns in Auburn’s loss to Texas A&M. Artis-Payne became the first tailback in the SEC to break the 1,000-yard mark in 2014, but his production out of the backfield wasn’t enough to keep Auburn from suffering a fatal second loss late in the season.

RB Nick Chubb: Georgia’s freshman phenomenon made his fourth consecutive start in place of the suspended Todd Gurley, and for the fourth straight week he rushed for more than 100 yards as the featured back in the offense. In Week 11, Chubb rushed for 170 yards and a touchdown in Georgia’s 63-31 rout of Kentucky, and he figures to remain a key part of the offense even when Gurley returns in Week 12 when Georgia takes on Auburn.

WR Amari Cooper: Alabama’s top wideout had another productive day at the office, catching eight passes for 83 yards and a touchdown in the Crimson Tide’s overtime win against LSU. Cooper now has 79 catches for more than 1,200 yards and 10 touchdowns this season, and he caught 40 percent of quarterback Blake Sims’ completions on Saturday to keep the Alabama offense afloat in Saturday’s win.

WR Josh Reynolds: Reynolds was Texas A&M’s most consistent receiver in Saturday’s upset of Auburn, catching six passes for 88 yards and a pair of touchdowns in the victory. Reynolds led A&M’s receivers to their most productive output since an Oct. 11 loss to Ole Miss, and posted personal bests for catches, yards and touchdowns in a game dating back to an Oct. 4 loss to Mississippi State.

O-line Georgia: The Bulldogs’ offensive line manhandled Kentucky’s defensive front in Saturday’s rout, allowing Georgia to rush for 305 yards at nearly eight yards per carry on the day. Likewise, the Bulldogs didn’t allow a single sack, which in turn allowed quarterback Hutson Mason to throw for a season-high four touchdowns in the win.

DEFENSE

DL Julien Obioha: The Aggies’ junior defensive linemen tied a season-high with eight tackles against Auburn to go along with a tackle for loss and a fumble recovery in a win over the Tigers. His fumble recovery came in the final three minutes of the game when Auburn’s Nick Marshall and Artis-Payne muffed a handoff exchange. It appeared Artis-Payne recovered the fumble, but somehow, some way, Obioha found a way to come out of the pile with the ball and convince the referees he had recovered the fumble. A&M was granted possession and would go on to win the game. Whether Obioha actually recovered the fumble or not, he made a play for his team to help it win its biggest game of the season thus far.

DL Jarran Reed: Alabama’s defensive lineman led all SEC tacklers with 15 in the Crimson Tide’s win over LSU in Week 11, adding a tackle for loss just for good measure. Reed helped limit a potent LSU rushing attack to fewer than four yards per carry on Saturday, resulting in a low-scoring game favoring the Tide in Death Valley.

LB Otaro Alaka: The Aggies’ freshman linebacker registered four tackles, a tackle for loss, two quarterback hurries and a pass breakup in Saturday’s victory, but more importantly he forced two of Auburn’s three fumbles for the game, all recovered by the A&M defense. Fumbles ultimately cost the Tigers a chance at a victory, and Alaka’s nose for the football was a big reason why A&M was able to come away with a win on the Plains.

LB Lorenzo Carter: Carter had far and away his best performance of the season, terrorizing the Kentucky offense in Georgia’s win over the weekend. The freshman recorded nine tackles, 3.5 tackles for loss, 2.5 sacks and a quarterback hurry in the victory. He had just 14 tackles and one sack on the season prior to Saturday’s action.

DB Vernon Hargreaves: Florida’s best cornerback was in top form Saturday night against Vanderbilt, recording four tackles, a fumble recovery and a stunning interception in a 34-10 victory. The interception was only Hargreaves’ second of the season, but he also added a pass breakup to lift his total to 10 on the year, which leads the SEC through 11 weeks.
