The AP Top 25 is out with a new poll. Media members have weighed in on where the teams stand heading into the final 2 weeks of the regular season.

The College Football Playoff selection committee’s rankings will decide the final 4 and the New Year’s Six bowl games. The AP Top 25, though, remains part of the college football world’s larger conversation of where teams deserve to be ranked.

The CFP committee has twice ranked Ohio State No. 1. The AP voters disagree and, aren’t budging.

It’s no surprise that Georgia is once again No. 1 in the AP Top 25. The Bulldogs improved to 10-0 with a blowout win over a top-10 Ole Miss team.

Like the Coaches Poll, the AP’s top 8 saw no movement from Weeks 11 to 12. Alabama is still No. 8 in the AP Top 25 after a dominant road win over Kentucky.

Mizzou boosted its New Year’s Six bowl stock with a big win over Tennessee. The Tigers are now just outside the top 10, while the Volunteers saw their ranking plummet.
