Big 12 reveals media’s 2020 preseason poll

The votes are in from the Big 12 and the media that covers the league is expecting Oklahoma to win the league for the sixth year in a row.

The Sooners received 80 first-place votes among the 90 media members that voted in the preseason poll entering the 2020 season. Oklahoma State finished second in the voting while Texas finished third.

Several of these Big 12 teams are currently slated to play against Southeastern Conference teams during the 2020 season:

  • Week 1: Baylor vs. Ole Miss on Sunday, Sept. 6
  • Week 2: Tennessee at Oklahoma on Saturday, Sept. 12
  • Week 2: Texas at LSU on Saturday, Sept. 12
  • Week 3: Vanderbilt at Kansas State on Saturday, Sept. 19

The 2020 Big 12 Championship Game is slated to be held on Saturday, Dec. 5 in AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
