CBS Sports on Monday named Jenny Dell as the lead college football reporter for CBS Sports and Sherree Burruss as the lead college football reporter for CBS Sports Network.

This news comes after Jamie Erdahl left her sideline reporting role with CBS Sports for the NFL Network. CBS Sports made the announcement on Twitter and in a press release.

Dell was previously the lead college football reporter on CBS Sports Network since 2015. She will be elevated from CBS Sports Network to the SEC on CBS, which broadcasts the marque 3:30 p.m. ET game each Saturday. Dell will work with Brad Nessler and Gary Danielson for the SEC on CBS, as well as CBS Television Network’s top college football game for each week.

For Burruss, she will be stepping into Dell’s previous role on the CBS Sports Network. Burruss will work with Rich Waltz and Aaron Taylor on the broadcasts.

CBS Sports announced that in addition to their new roles, Dell and Burruss will continue to anchor CBS Sports HQ, which is CBS’ sports news service (Via Paramount Press Express):

“In addition to their college football reporting duties, both Dell and Burruss will continue in their anchor roles on CBS Sports HQ, the 24/7 streaming sports news service. In her new position, Burruss will also work select SEC ON CBS games throughout the year,” CBS Sports announced.

These new roles for Dell and Burruss will begin at the start of the 2022 college football season.
