Chris “The Bear” Fallica is reportedly departing ESPN. Ben Koo of Awful Announcing reports that Fallica isleaving ESPN for rival FOX.

Fallica has had a long career with ESPN, first joining as a production assistant/tape operator for ESPN Radio in 1995. He has been with “College GameDay” since 1996. On “GameDay,” Fallica is featured making against-the-spread betting picks.

According to Awful Announcing, Fallica’s last show with ESPN is believed to be Saturday. The report states that Fallica will be joining FOX’s “Big Noon Kickoff,” the network’s traveling pregame show that competes with “College GameDay.” The report adds that Fallica is expected to have a sports betting role with FOX that extends beyond “Big Noon Kickoff.”

In addition to his role on “GameDay,” Fallica also co-hosted the “Stanford Steve and the Bear” podcast focusing on sports with a Las Vegas angle with “Stanford Steve” Coughlin of “SportsCenter” fame. He also contributed as a sports betting analyst to ESPN.com and the program “Daily Wager”and frequently appeared on Greg McElroy’s “Always College Football” podcast to preview games from a gambling perspective.
