Cincinnati defender blatantly delivers dirty play after whistle vs. Houston

A Cincinnati defender was clearly seen blatantly stepping on a Houston player’s ankle after a play in the first quarter of the American Athletic Conference Championship on Saturday.
ESPN cameras caught the defender stepping on Marcus Jones’ ankle after the whistle was blown. The play came with about 9:35 left in the first quarter. Jones made a 22-yard kickoff return on the play after Cincinnati’s first touchdown of the game.
Cincinnati held a 14-10 edge over Houston at the end of the first quarter in a game that has major ramifications for the College Football Playoff as the Bearcats currently sit at No. 3 in the rankings.
