Cole Cubelic and Roman Harper will soon be paired together in a new SEC Network show called “Read & React”, according to AL.com.

The show, set to debut on Sept. 4 (7 p.m. EST), will recap and break down each weekend’s slate of SEC contests with insightful schematic analysis.

The duo hails from rival schools, as Cubelic is a former Auburn offensive lineman and Harper is an ex-Alabama safety.

Cubelic has been an analyst for ESPN and the SEC Network dating back to 2011. Harper is also a member of “SEC Nation” and “SEC Now” shows.

Harper is excited to build on-air rapport with Cubelic.

“We’re so opposite in ways, but we’re a lot alike, too, if that makes sense,” Harper said. “No. 1, our looks. No. 2, our position in football. He played center. I played safety. Just completely different. … With all of that being said, the common ground is ball and the locker room. We’re going to be able to take that connection and put it on TV. I’m really looking forward to it.”

Cubelic thinks the show will be entertaining for viewers because of the different points of view each of them offers.

“I’m thrilled to be in a seat next to Roman Harper every Monday this fall,” Cubelic said. “(He is) someone I have immense respect for since he played at the Capstone. ‘Read & React’ will be a personality driven X’s & O’s show. We feel like this is something SEC fans will love. I believe SEC are the smartest football fans in the nation and crave more actual schematic breakdowns. We will have fun, learn from one another and hopefully help the audience see the game a little differently each week.”
