College football bowl projections: ESPN’s updated predictions feature 12 SEC teams

College football bowl projections are being updated after Week 7 action around the country.

This week, ESPN experts Kyle Bonagura and Mark Schlabach updated their postseason predictions and included 12 SEC squads.

As you can see below, both analysts expect Georgia to make the College Football Playoff. One has Tennessee making the CFP, while both have soured on Alabama’s chances.

Here’s a look at where every SEC team is expected to end up this postseason:

Alabama

  • Bonagura: Orange Bowl vs. Wake Forest
  • Schlabach: Sugar Bowl vs. TCU

Arkansas

  • Bonagura: Music City Bowl vs. Purdue
  • Schlabach: Music City Bowl vs. Maryland

Florida

  • Bonagura: Liberty Bowl vs. Oklahoma
  • Schlabach: Gator Bowl vs. North Carolina

Georgia

  • Bonagura: Peach Bowl (CFP) vs. TCU
  • Schlabach: Peach Bowl (CFP) vs. Clemson

Kentucky

  • Bonagura: Gator Bowl vs. North Carolina
  • Schlabach: ReliaQuest Bowl vs. Illinois

LSU

  • Bonagura: ReliaQuest Bowl vs. Penn State
  • Schlabach: Citrus Bowl vs. Penn State

Mississippi State

  • Bonagura: Las Vegas Bowl vs. Washington
  • Schlabach: Las Vegas Bowl vs. Washington

Mizzou

  • Bonagura: Gasparilla Bowl vs. Louisville
  • Schlabach: None

Ole Miss

  • Bonagura: Citrus Bowl vs. Illinois
  • Schlabach: Orange Bowl vs. Wake Forest

South Carolina

  • Bonagura: Birmingham Bowl vs. UCF

Tennessee
