College football fans have seen about enough of Kirk Ferentz at Iowa.

Iowa’s defense has been really good this year. However, the offense (led by Kirk’s son, Brian Ferentz) has been atrocious. The Hawkeyes rank No. 131 (dead last) in the FBS in total offense and No. 128 in scoring offense.

That has fans fed up. The claims of nepotism are getting louder and the chorus for Kirk to retire is growing stronger.

Ferentz is the longest tenured FBS coach, having led Iowa since 1999. His overall record entering Saturday’s game at Ohio State was 180-113.

But, as you can see below, fans are ready for him to head off into retirement, taking his son with him:

Will Iowa do something about its head coach this offseason? We’ll see how things progress for the struggling Hawkeyes as the season moves on.
