College football fans were split heading into the College Football Playoff National Championship Game on Monday night.
Some were excited for the all-SEC matchup between Alabama and Georgia, while others were tired of seeing the SEC dominate everything.
One thing everyone can agree on after the Tide and Dawgs battled their way to a 9-6 score (favoring Alabama) at halftime of Monday night’s game in Indianapolis was that the game is boring thus far.
Here’s some of the reaction on Twitter from the first half:
4 field goals.
SEC rematch title games are beyond boring and I don’t know why I’m even watching.
After an incredible season what a disappointment.

I’m boycotting the next Championship game that is all SEC. It’s boring.

Will we see a more exciting second half? We’ll find out soon enough on the ESPN family of networks. At the very least, the game is close!
