College football fans weigh in on officials of Alabama vs. Georgia national title game
College football officials are always under the microscope, and it’s even more apparent in the national title game.
Alabama leads Georgia at halftime of the College Football Playoff national title game 9-6.
Early in the first quarter, Alabama quarterback Bryce Young was called for a fumble, which was returned for a Georgia touchdown. However, upon the review, it was ruled that Young’s arm was going forward, and it was ruled an incomplete pass.
That was a huge swing early in the game; however, it looked like the right call.
What was thought to be a scoop and score by Nakobe Dean, a review shows Bryce Young had forward motion, resulting in an incomplete pass.
Call reversed, 2nd & 10 Alabama. #NationalChampionship #RollTide #GoDawgs

One Georgia fan wasn’t happy about it though.

Fans weighed in on the officiating of the first half, and they think it’s pretty one-sided so far:
I swear, these officials bet on Alabama

#NationalChampionship @TheACC officials have called every big play of Georgia back. I am putting a video together of all the calls they didn’t call against Bama and posting it.
