College Football Playoff 2024: TV schedule, kickoff times for Round 1 and Quarterfinals

College Football Playoff 2024 action is finally right around the corner! On Sunday, the CFP committee officially set the 12-team bracket, and now the television schedule for the first-round and quarterfinal games is set.
The first round of games will come across Friday, Dec. 20 and Saturday, Dec. 21 to be played at on-campus sites. One game will be played in the Friday night primetime slot while the other 3 games will be played across Saturday.
After that, the quarterfinals move to the traditional bowl game destinations with all 4 games coming across New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day 2025. The bowl games hosting the quarterfinals will be the Fiesta Bowl, the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl, the Rose Bowl and the All-State Sugar Bowl.

Friday, Dec. 20
- Indiana at Notre Dame (8 pm ET ESPN/ABC)
Saturday, Dec. 21
- SMU at Penn State (12 pm ET, TNT/MAX)
- Clemson at Texas (4 pm ET, TNT/MAX)
- Tennessee at Ohio State (8 pm ET, ESPN/ABC)
Tuesday, Dec. 31
- SMU/Penn State vs. Boise State (Fiesta Bowl, 7:30 pm ET, ESPN/ABC)
Wednesday, Jan. 1 2025
- Clemson/Texas vs. Arizona State (Chick-Fil-A Peach Bowl, 1 pm ET, ESPN/ABC)
- Tennessee/Ohio State vs. Oregon (Rose Bowl Game, 5 pm ET, ESPN/ABC)
- Indiana/Notre Dame vs. Georgia (All-State Sugar Bowl, 8:45 pm ET, ESPN/ABC)
