With Week 1 in the books, the Week 2 AP Top 25 Poll will be released at 2:00 p.m. ET Tuesday afternoon.

Two Week 1 ranked teams — No. 19 Florida State and No. 23 Texas — will fall out of the top 25 with losses to Virginia Tech and Maryland respectively. That means the South Carolina Gamecocks, who were ranked just outside the top 25 poll last week, will jump in. The Gamecocks will face off against a top three ranked Georgia team loaded with talent Saturday.

The No. 6 Washington Huskies and No. 8 Miami Hurricanes were the only top 10 teams to lose in Week 1. The No. 25 LSU Tigers humbled the Canes Sunday night 33-17, and the No. 9 Auburn Tigers outlasted Washington in a huge opening week win. We project Miami falls to No. 24 following the loss. Washington, however, shouldn’t fall out of the top 10.
