As ESPN’s College GameDay gets ready for the season and it’s opening show ahead of the North Carolina and South Carolina game in Charlotte, the show has revealed its new betting analyst.

Chris “The Bear” Fallica, who became somewhat of a fan favorite in recent years, left ESPN for FOX Sports at the end of last season. Now, the show will have Stanford Steve Coughlin as its betting analyst. Stanford Steve has been a long-time contributor to SportsCenter with Scott Van Pelt, especially the popular “Bad Beats” segment.

The personalities on the show this year will be host Rece Davis and analysts Lee Corso, Kirk Herbstreit, Desmond Howard and Pat McAfee, along with college football insider Pete Thamel and reporters Jen Lada and Jess Sims during the program’s 37th season.

Coughlin will have ‘Steve’s 6-Pack,’ a segment where he’ll share his top bets of the week. He will also join “College Football Live” every Friday from the site of College GameDay.

Before SportsCenter, Coughlin was part of ESPN Radio for 11 years. He began his ESPN career as a production assistant in 2004 and eventually started working with Van Pelt and Ryen Russillo on their ESPN Radio show in 2009.
