While many continue to question whether the upcoming college football season will be played, those doubts aren’t going to stop the game’s list of annual awards from releasing their preseason watch lists.

The latest award to release its watch list was the Davey O’Brien Award, given annually to the nation’s best college football quarterback. Last season, Joe Burrow won the award, and the preseason watch list features five signal-callers from the Southeastern Conference looking ahead to the upcoming college football season.

The list will be trimmed down to 16 semifinalists on Nov. 10. From that list, three finalists will be announced on Nov. 24. The 2020 Davey O’Brien Award winner will be unveiled live on ESPN on  Dec. 10 during The Home Depot College Football Awards.
