Deion Sanders has had quite the medical ordeal this fall as he recovers from foot surgery and, recently, complications that had him back in the hospital.

Sanders, the Jackson State coach also known as Coach Prime, wrote on social media Wednesday morning that he was out of the hospital, and that it brought him joy to share with Tiger Nation that he is on the path that they started together.

“I promise you I’m going to be smart and continue to adhere to my wonderful team of doctors’ orders,” he said. “… Often times fast is looked upon as having speed, but fast in this instance is being fleet of thought.”

Sanders also added, “Don’t be surprised when you see me back on the field in a new whip 😎”

Jackson State is 8-1 this season, and has gone 3-0 since Sanders has been out.
