One of the nation’s top edge rushers in the 2021 recruiting cycle is closer to making his college decision.

That’s the latest from four-star weakside defensive end Elijah Jeudy who recently announced his list of five finalists. Based on his current list, there’s an outstanding chance Jeudy plays his college football in the SEC as Georgia, LSU, Tennessee, Texas A&M and Oregon are the programs that made the cut for the Northeast High School standout.

The 6-foot-3, 246-pound Philadelphia native is rated as the No. 170 overall prospect, the No. 12 weakside defensive end and the No. 8 recruit from the state of Pennsylvania in the 2021 recruiting cycle by 247Sports Composite Rankings.

Jeudy is planning on announcing his commitment on July 14 but that could change as the NCAA has put a temporary halt to recruiting visits across the nation.
