The worldwide leader in sports has a new leader.
ESPN announced Monday afternoon that James Pitaro has been named the new president and co-chair of Disney Media Networks. Pitaro takes over for John Skipper, who left the job in mid-December.
Pitaro served as chairman of Disney Consumer Products and Interactive Media before taking over this position. ESPN offered up this statement from Pitaro following the news:
