Two SEC teams (Florida and Texas A&M) have already kicked off their 2019 campaigns. For the other 12, the season starts on Saturday.

It’s a Week 1 schedule that SEC fans have become familiar with over the years. The majority of the 12 (7-of-12) teams will face opponents outside the Power 5 conferences while there are a few intriguing Power 5 contests, including one SEC East clash.

Since there’s one conference game (Georgia at Vanderbilt), one SEC team is guaranteed to be an underdog. This week, it’s the only SEC underdog on ESPN’s Football Power Index. While the Commodores are given only a 12.9 percent chance to win on the FPI, the other 11 teams are all favored.

Most SEC teams are opening the season at home, but there are a few teams hitting the road, all of which are favored to bring back a victory.
