Where will Cade Mays ultimately end up? The five-star lineman and Tennessee legacy appears to be down to Clemson and Georgia while he has also included Ohio State in his group of finalists. Tennessee also sent a contingent to his high school last week to offer one last pitch but it seems to have fallen on deaf ears despite the fact his father played for UT AD Phillip Fulmer and Mays had been committed to the Vols for a significant amount of time.

Mays provided the latest update on his recruitment Monday, sharing the news that he will be committing and signing at his Knoxville high school on the first day of the early signing period. His commitment will be televised by ESPNU.

The 6-foot-6, 318-pound Mays is the top prospect from the state of Tennessee and the No. 2 offensive tackle in the nation according to 247Sports Composite Rankings. He is a U.S. Army All-American candidate for 2018 and plans to enroll early.
