Former SEC assistant Brian Niedermeyer lands on Denver Broncos staff, per report

Former SEC assistant coach Brian Niedermeyer has been involved with some of the best teams in the conference over the past few seasons. He has spent time at Tennessee, Alabama and Georgia. Now, he will be heading to the NFL, as reports are that he will be a part of Sean Payton’s defensive staff for the Denver Broncos.
He was at those SEC schools from 2015-2020. He was a GA at Georgia in 2015, and was at Alabama in the same position the following year. He was at Tennessee from 2018-2021. He started out there as the tight ends coach, with his final season being the inside linebackers coach.
After that, he went to the high school ranks, where he coached at some of the best programs in the country.
He started as an assistant at St. Thomas Aquinas (FL) in 2021, and then was the defensive coordinator at IMG Academy the next 2 seasons. His most recent job was the defensive coordinator at Tuscaloosa County high school last season. He was promoted to the head coach heading into next season, but is making the decision to head to the NFL.
