5-star J.T. Tuimoloau, nation's highest-rated unsigned player, announces college commitment
The nation’s highest-rated unsigned player from the class of 2021 has made his decision.
While he could have signed with just about any program in the nation during December’s Early Signing Period or February’s National Signing Day, five-star defensive lineman J.T. Tuimoloau waited until Sunday to announce his college decision. After a long process, the five-star Washington native announced he’s headed to Ohio State.
Tuimoloau, a 6-foot-4, 277-pound product of Eastside Catholic High School in Sammamish, Wash., is rated as the nation’s No. 3 overall prospect in the nation for the 2021 recruiting cycle according to 247Sports Composite Rankings.
Tuimoloau had previously named Alabama, Oregon, Ohio State, USC and Washington as his five finalists.
