Joel Klatt released his updated top 10 following a fun week of college football, and he’s kept a familiar name at the top of the pack.
Of course, Georgia still sits at No. 1 after a fairly routine win over UAB Saturday. The Bulldogs are flanked by Washington, Michigan and Ohio State.
Alabama did not crack his top 10, but he does have the Crimson Tide as one of his “almost” teams at or around No. 12.
Here’s the rest of his top 10:

The top of the SEC is just not as strong as it usually is this year and Saturday affirmed that. Ole Miss was not particularly impressive against the Tide, but neither was LSU at home against an Arkansas squad missing its star running back.
Both seem interchangeable in that regard and neither look like top 10 teams in the country heading into Week 5. They happen to face off next week, so we’ll surely learn some from that matchup in Oxford.
