After Saturday’s conference championships, the wait is almost over to see which four teams will be selected for the College Football Playoff.

The final field will be announced on Sunday, and no matter what decision the selection committee makes, it’s sure to spark quite a bit of debate, especially in the fourth and final spot, where it seems to be a battle between two-loss Big Ten champion Ohio State and an Alabama team with only one loss, but no conference title.

After Saturday night’s ACC title game, in which Clemson made quick work of Miami, ESPN analyst Kirk Herbstreit made his selections for the final four, which you can see below:

  • Clemson — No. 1
  • Oklahoma — No. 2
  • Georgia — No. 3
  • Ohio State — No. 4

Herbie added that he believes the Crimson Tide would beat the Buckeyes head-to-head, but said the committee would probably put Ohio State in the Playoff field.

Will the Playoff committee have the same final four as Herbstreit? We’ll find out at noon Eastern time.
