Big media news broke on Wednesday night, as it was reported that longtime reporter Tom Rinaldi was leaving for FOX.
Rinaldi has been at 2002, so his loss is a big one for the Worldwide Leader, especially for the folks on College GameDay, where Rinaldi’s features were usually incredible.
On Wednesday night, fellow ESPN star Kirk Herbstreit took to Twitter to praise Rinaldi and say he’d be missed greatly:
I have ALWAYS appreciated Tom’s talents & abilities. Love his story telling & care that he gives to each project. But the best thing about Tommy is he’s a GREAT teammate w/ an unbelievable soul. Tom we love you-we appreciate you-and we are happy for you-You’ll be missed greatly! https://t.co/J2OwMtW802

A classy tweet from Herbstreit. Rinaldi will indeed be missed by ESPN.
