Kyle Edwards, a former Alabama running back, entered the NCAA transfer portal before the 2021 season kicked off.

However, as is the case with a certain percentage of players who enter the portal, there wasn’t a new school immediately available to him, so he spent the entire 2021 campaign in the portal.

Now, though, he took to Instagram on Wednesday to reveal that he was transferring to Southeastern Louisiana to continue his career:

Edwards was a 3-star member of Alabama’s 2020 recruiting class. He’s a Louisiana native, so he’ll be playing closer to home at SELA.

Southeastern Louisiana is an FCS program that plays in the Southland Conference.
