The world lost a legend on Thursday, when actor (and former Florida State football player) Burt Reynolds passed away at the age of 82.

Already, tributes are pouring out to the legendary movie star, and the Seminoles are planning to do their part to honor him, too.

As you can see below, the Seminoles will wear helmet decals with the license plate from Reynold’s famous movie “Smokey and the Bandit” on Saturday:

That is a very cool gesture from Florida State, and one that likely would have meant a lot to Reynolds.

The Noles take on Samford on Saturday evening. The game kicks off at 7:20 p.m. Eastern time and can be seen on the ACC Network Extra channels.
