LOOK: Yes, UCF actually gave its players 2017 national champion rings

By now, we all know that UCF is taking its claim of a 2017 national championship very seriously, even though the Knights didn’t play in the College Football Playoff.

During their spring game on Saturday, they unveiled a national championship sign, but that was only the beginning.

As you can see below, the Knights also gave their players some very nice national championship rings, rivaling what Alabama gave its players for winning the actual title:

Obviously, this is great for the players, who deserve plenty of recognition for a great season, in which they took down Auburn in the Peach Bowl.

However, the Knights are going to continue to be questioned for going so hard with their championship claims despite most of the college football world not recognizing it.
