A pair of SEC commitments were among the future college quarterbacks who impressed at this weekend’s “QB Collective” event.

According to Steve Wiltfong of 247Sports, LSU commit Garrett Nussmeier “exceeded expectations” while Florida pledge Carlos Del Rio-Wilson also turned in a strong performance.

“(QB Collective coach Will) Hewlett described Nussmeier as explosive regarding both his arm talent and movements,” The future Tiger at the very least pushed (standout performers Caleb Williams and Drake Maye) from a consistency standpoint, and was on the money just about every rep. Nussmeier came out strong from the first throw and never looked back and his performance was as strong as anyone’s this weekend in the Hoosier State.”

As for Del Rio-Wilson, Wiltfong wrote that the UF commitment, “continues to showcase he has all the traits to be terrific in Gainesville, a big arm that can move that just needs to work on being more consistent.”

Nussmeier is rated 4-stars and the No. 8 pro-style prospect on the 247Sports Composite. Del-Rio Wilson is also 4-stars on the Composite and the No. 11 pro-style prospect.
