MAC players issued #MACUnited statement after league postpones fall sports
On Saturday morning, the MAC announced it was canceling its fall sports seasons amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
Now, as other conferences figure out what they want to do, MAC players are coming together to issue a statement.
As you can see below, Akron DB Kavari Adams and others have tweeted a #MACUnited message, saying they applaud leaders for prioritizing health, but adding that they want to ensure they don’t lose a year of eligibility:

The players also call for the league’s commissioner to develop a set of uniform protocols moving forward.
Will the MAC explore moving football to the spring? Or, will these athletes have to come back next fall to play again? We’ll find out over the coming weeks and months.
