Would the bottom half of the Pac-12 destroy the bottom half of the SEC?
It’s a question worth pondering.
Washington State head coach Mike Leach said on Thursday that he believes the Pac-12 is the best conference in college football — and that its bottom six teams would “crush” the bottom six teams in the SEC.
Could Leach be correct?
If you take a look at the standings, you can see that the Pac-12 has a clear bottom six consisting of Oregon, California and Oregon State in the North division, and Utah, UCLA and Colorado in the South division.
The SEC’s bottom six, based on conference records — Florida, Missouri, Tennessee, Vanderbilt, Ole Miss and Arkansas.
Eh, maybe Leach has a point.
