The 2021 NFL Draft will be here before we know it, especially since the NFL Combine won’t be held as scheduled.
On Monday, NFL.com’s Chad Reuter released his first 2021 NFL Mock Draft, and he included 11 SEC stars in Round 1.
As you can see below, he has Florida TE Kyle Pitts among 3 SEC standouts in the top 10:
- No. 5 — Kyle Pitts, TE, Florida — Cincinnati Bengals
- No. 6 — Patrick Surtain II, CB, Alabama — Philadelphia Eagles
- No. 8 — Ja’Marr Chase, WR, LSU — New York Jets
- No. 11 — DeVonta Smith, WR, Alabama — New York Giants
- No. 14 — Mac Jones, QB, Alabama — Washington Football Team
- No. 16 — Jaylen Waddle, WR, Alabama — Arizona Cardinals
- No. 21 — Nick Bolton, LB, Mizzou — Cleveland Browns
- No. 22 — Azeez Ojulari, LB, Georgia — Tennessee Titans
- No. 23 — Najee Harris, RB, Alabama — New York Jets
- No. 25 — Jaycee Horn, CB, South Carolina — New England Patriots
- No. 26 — Kadarius Toney, WR, Florida — Indianapolis Colts
Who will rise and who will fall before draft day? We’ll find out soon enough!
5 Bama players drafted in the first 23 picks would definitely be a prominent mention in Saban’s next leaked recruiting pitch.
To be honest, most that I have read have 6. Though like certain body parts, when it comes to mocks. everyone has one. He should have Christian Barmore in there.
If the coveted OLineman is gone, Pitts would be an interesting pick for the Bengals. A good TE is crucial for a QB with a bad OLine.
