The NFL Scouting Combine is in the books, and pro days have gotten underway in the SEC, which means the NFL Draft is just around the corner. NFL.com’s Daniel Jeremiah recently listed his pro comparisons for 33 top prospects, including 16 from the SEC.

Some of Jeremiah’s more interesting comparisons include former Ole Miss TE Evan Engram to another SEC alumnus, Jordan Reed. Like Reed, Engram could be considered a “big receiver” and is a matchup problem for defenses (and someone you might want on your fantasy team). Jeremiah believes former Alabama TE O.J. Howard is more of a total package tight end as both a pass-catcher and run-blocker a la Carolina’s Greg Olsen.

When it comes to defensive backs, former Florida S Marcus Maye is compared to a familiar name, his old teammate Keanu Neal, as both are noted as fast, physical safeties. LSU’s Jamal Adams receives arguably the loftiest comparison, one to Troy Polamalu for the ability to take over a game.

Here are all 16 NFL comparisons for SEC prospects:

  • Ole Miss TE Evan Engram – Jordan Reed
  • Alabama TE O.J. Howard – Greg Olsen
  • Alabama OT Cam Robinson – Andre Smith
