Not Top 10: Player tackled by his own teammate after running wrong way

A California high school football player shared a video of a unique play that he believed could qualify for both ESPN SportsCenter’s Top 10 and Not Top 10. Kha’Ron Thrower of the Fairfield Falcons had to make a game-saving tackle of his own teammate. The fellow Flacons defender ran the wrong way after snagging an interception. Luckily for Fairfield, Thrower was able to run him down before the defender crossed the goal line into his own end zone.
The clip, which now has more than 1,000 retweets and 2,700 likes on Twitter, can be viewed below:
