Ever since the Big Ten decided to postpone the fall football season last week, many players have taken to social media to protest the decision.

Ohio State QB Justin Fields is one of the most vocal B1G players when it comes to pushing for a season, and he was active again on Sunday morning.

As you can see below, Fields tweeted out the link to a campaign he started online to get signatures to convince B1G commissioner Kevin Warren and the university presidents to reverse their decision:

“We, the football players of the Big Ten, together with the fans and supporters of college football, request that the Big Ten Conference immediately reinstate the 2020 football season,” the petition reads. “Allow Big Ten players/teams to make their own choice as to whether they wish to play or opt out this fall season. Allow Big Ten players/teams who choose to opt out of playing a fall season to do so without (penalty) or repercussion.”

The petition already has more than 16,000 signatures and is growing quickly. Will the Big Ten address it?
